Niort – Reims

Niort took their second away win after astonishing 5-1 at Nimes. They travelled in Corsica, playing against GFC Ajaccio scoring one goal per half and taking a clear 2-0 win on a knew difficult pitch. A display who just proved to be perfect for a trip here: sit and hit on counter, Niort being overall dominated quite big. And without too many missing starters, as they had few rounds ago, Niort is a team who can be taken seriously in account. They have some good middle & attacking compartment in the ligue 2, players as Roye, Grange and Dona N’Doh being able to compete at a superior level without discussion. 2 important defenders will miss again Brison and Sans

Reims is dominating Ligue 2, being the most constant team. Already took a clear 4 points advantage from Nimes tanks to their latest results. Since they lost 1-3 on the road at Chateauroux, they conceded only a s ingle goal in 6 games collecting 14 points. In last game they played at home against Auxerre and gave no chance to them to collect something. Was a clear and undoubtedly 2-0 win for Reims who at least at home they are hard to break (remember was the same previous season in the first part of the season…) No important missing.

With those missing in defense and with Reims style of play expect a narrow win for the Reims but back them -0.5 gl.

The major question for me how niort managed to win last 2 games with only 1 experienced pure def choplin?? I think Reims should stop this nonsence today.
