Wetzlar vs Ludwigshafen

Wetzlar, 11th with 4-2-6 record. A team with some big profile players but have struggled with consistency. Can at times pressure some of the best teams but also drop points against the weaker. Average on both ends and no real strategic type that sets them apart. Mirkulovski is a veteran playmaker and can bring up the pace at times but the team is not a particular speedy team. Bjornsen is a goal-scorer and strong in fastbreaks when he gets the time. Also have players like Kneer, Hermann, Holst and Kohlbacher. However, the team has some injury trouble with Kneer, Kohlbacher and Ferraz on the sideline.

Ludwigshafen are 14th with 2-2-8 record. As a newcomer they have done what one can ask. Like many of the bottom teams they don’t have the squad or finance to keep up with the bigger teams. Have a couple of players that are doing well like Weber, Djozic, Feld and the team have done some strong performances but in general it has a hard time over 60 mins. Djozic is back in the squad after some injury trouble while Feld is doubtful.

Expecting Wetzlar to win but the team is hurting from their injuries and don’t have a style that usually results in crushing wins. Ludwigshafen hasn’t gotten a point playing away but the team has stood up well. Wetzlar to win by 1-5 goals is the prediction.
