NY Knicks vs Player Special by QuidProQuo
New York will be 4-point favorite tonight when they host Utah in Madison Square Garden, while the total is set at only 203 points. That is not surprise as both teams are ranked in the bottom half in pace of play and in the top half in points allowed per game.
Utah is without Gobert with Mitchell and Hood as biggest beneficiaries. They started Jerebko at power forward the other night, splitting minutes with Sefolosha, while Favors will be asked to play extended minutes at center once more. Clearly, the best way to attack Utah is in front court without Gobert and this is really nice spot for Kanter.
Kanter is very good rebounder, averaging 11 rebounds per game with great 25% total rebound rate. New York is generally great rebounding team this season with rebounding differential of +4.5, which makes them 4th in the league. When Kanter plays close to 30 min, he pretty much always crush with solid double figures for rebounds and today game should be competitive, which really makes me believe he'll have no trouble posting at least 10 rebounds against weak Utah front court. Good luck!
