Kansas Chiefs vs Player Performances by QuidProQuo

Hunt is coming off his most disappointing game of the year, but it was not a surprise against Denver’s top ranked rush defense. In past month, he faced three top-10 run DVOA defenses (Denver, Pittsburgh and Houston), so his production has fallen back to earth. But, he still leads the league with 1,070 scrimmage yards and has been getting 22.25 opportunities per game.

Even against Denver, he logged 22 carries, while the rest of the running backs got zero. Andy Reid loves his workhorses and while we don’t see workloads like Hunt's in the modern day NFL that often, Kareem is simply doing his job.

Today he has excellent match-up. The Chiefs are 1-point road favorites against the Cowboys, who are 30th in rush DVOA and 20th in pass DVOA against running backs, while allowing 4.5 yards/carry for the year. Nice spot for Hunt to show why he looked like the greatest rookie running back of all time through the first month. Good luck!
