Brentford vs Leeds by Rahul

Leeds United have been playing terrible off late which has seen them slip down the pecking order for promotion and have just won once in their last 7 games, dropping 5 out of their last 6 in the Championship. While Leeds have been in decent scoring form netting 23 goals for the 3rd best offense in the division; their defensive exploits have certainly let them down. Leeds have now conceded in 9 out of their last 10 encounters in all competitions with 7 of those seeing at least 2 goals being scored past them; which is a terrible worry for them. Their last 3 games have seen them lose to Derby, Reading and Sheffield United in front of their home fans; which will need them to work around and put in a good performance to push back up the table.

Brentford come into this game in some strong momentum and are now 5th in the form table over the last 6 games with 3 wins and 3 draws during that span, netting 12 goals while conceding 8 as well. Brentford's offensive form has seen them score 22 goals in the 15 games, which is a similar record to Leeds. Scoring has been led by Watkins (6), Yennaris (4), Maupay (4) who have netted the 14 goals for them. They have scored at least 2 goals in 4 out of their last 5 games, and that sort of scoring form has been similar to the poor defensive record that Leeds has had in the recent weeks.

Brentford definitely look the favorites coming into this encounter considering their strong form in front of the net while Leeds just need to get at least a point to showcase to their home fans. For all things considered, I have to be backing both teams to find the back of the net in this encounter.
