Krajinovic vs Isner by FairPlayBet
Semifinals of the Paris Masters. Surprising players in it, American John Isner, the world no.14 and Serbian player Filip Krajinovic, the current 77th player on ATP standings.
But if we take closer look, maybe such SF is not big surprise cause exactly Paris is a Masters where we have the most often some lower ranked players who makes their best results ever. Simply, when Paris Masters come, it's almost end of the season, some top players does not shows up at all, many are not in too good shape anymore, some like Nadal yesterday retires during tournament since upcoming ATP world tour Masters is more important ...
And that's how we came to Isner - Krajinovic duel. It's their second mutual meeting. In the first one Isner easily won but that was back to 2008. This time I expect one very tight match.
I will try with over the totals but in opening set.
Namely, Isner is without doubt the most profitable player for such bets. He is huge service player but you won't see him too often capable to make some threat on return.
And thus very often he plays TB sets.
Here in Paris Isner has played 3 rounds and only against Delpotro there wasn't TB in first set, but there was in second. Overall, 9 sets Isner played here and even 6 have been with over 10.5 games. In last 18 sets, Isner even 12 times has played over 10.5.
If we count only his matches indoor, in last 7 such, in 6 there was TB first set, plus in those matches 13 of 18 sets have been over 10.5. Really impressive.
Krajinovic of course is not so often involved in TB sets but on tournament before Paris, in Moscow, Krajinovic has played 4 matches and in 3 there was TB in opening set, also out of ten overall sets there, 6 have been with over 10.5.
