Brisbane vs Central Coast by Jumanjiyo
CC mariners is much better team than they were last year. Yes they still have defensive problems but what they have improved the most is their transition game. With the addition of Andrew Hoole , when they move the ball from their defence to the 3rd zone, they have added quality to their speed and to their passing options. Defensively, they still need to improve. They play with off side tactic and it costs them like it did in 2-1 defeat to Perth Glory. Every game that they played this year they have conceded at least one goal and scored at least one goal. In my opinion the scores could be with more goals , so many clear chances they have missed and gave up.
Asdrubal, Pain, Da Silva can score and create chances against any team in the league especially when they have Andrew Hoole playing behind them. Lets don’t forget they also have Appiah on the bench. They have done so against Melbourne Victory last week, and this week the opponent is Brisbane Roar who conceded 9 goals in just 4 games. I also watched the interview with their captain this week and you can see it on the pitch that there is a positive environment in the club and in the dressing room.
Brisbane Roar is my candidate this year to be the team that will finish the last in the standings. After loosing Jamie Mclaren, Brandon Borello Brisbane has lost a lot of strength. They have veterans in front now. Fahid Ben Khalfallah, Massimo Maccarone are experienced players, and with their knowledge of possession, they also create chances . Brisbane also has problems with their goal keeping, wing defence as well. They conceded 9 goals but it could have been 15 very easily.
Both teams is targeting a win in this game. To do so , they need to score goals. Because they simply can’t defend and both teams are capable of scoring. I expect min 4 goals in this game with the contribution of both sides. I still get the insurance of a money back in case of 3 goals.
