Miami Heat vs Player Special by QuidProQuo

Minnesota is on the road as they make the trip to face the Miami Monday night. Total for the game is set at 215 points, while the visitors are 2.5 point favorites. We should expect average game for both teams, as the projected pace is 99.3 possessions (both teams average around that) and projected points are also around their averages.

Whiteside is confirmed to be out tonight as well and Wayne Ellington is questionable. While Mickey and Adebayo split starts on center, James Johnson is true benefactor of Whiteside's absence. But, his line's are inflated big time, so I'm more interested in wing players tonight. Mainly Richardson. His minutes are super safe, as he played over 33 minutes in every game of the season (35.6 min/game is average). His usage is 16.5%, which is obviously not elite, but Waiters has only 20% usage rate and less minutes.

While 16.5% usage might not look like a lot, it's enough for him to average 10.6 field goal attempts and average 13 points/game thanks to his big minutes. Tonight, he has best match-up against Wiggins, who is one of the worst defenders (finished last season with -2.88 DRPM). Good luck!
