CSKA Moscow vs Panathinaikos by Demogorgon
Panathinaikos on the other hand suffered a heavy loss against Barcelona in the season opener, but then bounced bcak against Bamberg 93-83 in a match that they could have won by more than 16p but they slowed down in the fourth quarter. Good news for them is that the team is very efficient offensively, which was was a major issue for them last season, while Calathes is in top form they are getting many points from pg position which is very unlikely of them. Today they have nothing to lose, as there are not many teams that can win CSKA on the road but i think they have a good chacne here should they play at high tempo and not dispose themselves in defense and physical game.
I totaly expect a high score here, as CSKA will be eager to bounce back and they are an extremely dangerous team, shooting the ball ridiculously well if they get hot, so Panathinaikos will have to counter that with great offense as well.
Now, i find those odds of Calathe's 13,5 line extremely valuable, he is in top form with 14p against Barca and 23p against Bamberg, he is looking for the shot far more often that he drives into the paint in every oportunity, which makes him a huge threat as he is extremely athletic and his agility is too much even for point guards, so should he find himself against DeColo, he will have a decent advantage. Only problem is that he is careless in defense and draws many fouls, as he has 4 in both previous games and had to be pulled to the bench for quite a long time but he should be much more careful here.
