Admira vs Salzburg by SPC22

Admira
VS
Salzburg
It's all about goals in this one. After coach Damir Buric left to club to help Greuther Fürth to stay in Germany's second Bundesliga, director of sports Ernst Baumeister became again coach of the Lower Austrians. From this day on, Admira found back on track and delivered some really good performances. 2:2 at Altach, 4:2 against the strong LASK, 2:1 against Sturm Graz, 3:1 against Rapid and a fascinating 5:0 win at Mattersburg showed that they can beat every team in the league. Furthermore Admira's games are always good for a lot of goals. They scored 23 goals (2nd best of the league) and received 21 goals (3rd most of the league). Their offensive effort is a bit surprising due to the loss of goalgetter Christoph Monschein this summer, but they managed to replace him by good work of many other players like Sax, Knasmüllner and Starkl.

Red Bull Salzburg has the same development every year. After a rebuilding process in summer, it needs some time till they get in form, but every year in October their team starts clicking. So again this year. They showed decent performances in the Bundesliga lately and even better performances in the Europa League against Marseille and Konyaspor. They also scored 23 goals (2nd best of the league), but received just 9 goals (best of the league).

On both sides there aren't any new major injuries, why I expect both teams to show their offensive potential again. Chances are high that we see a lot of goals again, especially because Admira tends to play no risk, no fun. Both offenses are great, Admira's defense is bad. I think this game will be fun to watch. Therefore I choose over 3.5 goals.pin
