Everton vs Arsenal by Vasilli07

The pressure continues to mount for Ronald Koeman as he saw his Everton side lose another game in midweek. The big spending side this season lost 2-1 to Lyon in the Europa League. That result meant that Everton is rock bottom in Group E and also extended their winless streak to 4 games in all competitions.

Arsenal suffered a shock defeat to Watford in the league last weekend. After taking a lead through Per Mertesacker, the Gunners were pegged back by a pk goal by Troy Deeney in the second half. Tom Cleverley then struck a 90th minute winner to shock them. In midweek, they received abit of reprieve in the Europa League as they beat Red Star Belgrade 1-0 in Serbia.

This game maybe played at Goodison Park but the fans are edgy and restless as Ronald Koeman has persist with a lineup without any real pace. After the defeat to Lyon, he sounded like a dead man walking and doesn't have a clue on how to turn things around. Arsenal may not be in the best of form themselves but I still fancy them to inflict another defeat to the Toffees which will put another nail on Koeman coffin. pin
