Toronto vs Philadelphia by Demogorgon
Toronto Raptors have a great roster this season, they might lack height and big bodies with the exception of Valanciunas, but they have a very strong perimeter with gifted guards and they use their pace in offense to distract their opponents. They proved to be in great shape by winning easily 117-100, agaisnt the Chicago, shoting 48,1% 2P-FG and an huge 44,8 3P-FG with 13/29! TOday thay face the other very talented team of their conference, the 76ers and there will be many prospects on the court today. Good things for the hosts is that the 76ers will rest Embiid and avoid use him in back to back games as he already played twice during the last 3 days, which will make Valanciuna's work much easier in the paint and he will add another threat for the already tired roster of the 76ers.
●DeMar DeRozan remains questionable until now and thats the main reason why the AH line stayed considerably low.
PHILADELPHIA 76ers on the other hand lost yesterday to Celtics, in amatch that they were leading the half time and looked to have total control of the match, but in the second half their stats went down, finishing the game with just 10/32 from beyond the arc and a total FG of 38% which would never be enough to win against the Celtics no matter how good defense you play. I understand that they will be tired and that usualy means less work on defense, which might cost them here against such a talented team but they have great players as well and they should be able to at least stay close and score many points as well.
There is trouble in the paint for the visitors, as:
●(C)Embiid will miss this match (rest)
●(C/F) Okafor did not play yesterday, still doubtful (illness)
●(C/F) R.Holmes sidelined untill late November
I expect a very high tempo and since the 76ers will use a small lineup for a long time today due to absences in 'big bodies', they will go for a higher tempo, which means quicker offenses and fast breaks on the open court. So i find a lot of value here.
