Manchester City vs Burnley by Blackcrow

Manchester-City
VS
Burnley
Manchester City lead the Premier League and have been in great form, as they have won seven and drawn of their eight games so far. They are coming off a 7-2 thrashing of Stoke (16th) and beat Chelsea (5th) 1-0 before at Stamford Bridge. Prior to that they beat both Crystal Palace (20th) and Liverpool (8th) 5-0 and drew 1-1 with Everton (15th) in their home games so far this season. Midweek they played their Champions League game against Napoli and though they were in control at half time, leading 2-0, they had to withstand a Napoli comeback and they held on for a 2-1 win. With Aguero and Jesus up front, Silva, Sterling and De Bruyne behind them, they have quite a bit of quality to score some goals here on their visitors

Burnely have done well this season to be sitting in 7th spot, and much of it has to do with their away form, which was pretty poor last season, but so far, they have won 3-2 at Chelsea (5th), drew 1-1 at both Tottenham (3rd) and Liverpool (8th) and won 1-0 at Everton (15th). In playing three of the "top six" they have been fortunate in these games, and had each of these teams taking their chances, they would have lost by a few goals, but they hung in there and from the limited opportunities they have had in these games, they have taken them. Expect them to have the same mindset here but come up against a team in ruthless form. Doubt that they are fortunate here, and believe they will concede at least twice here, but City will also be tired from that midweek game against Napoli and can see them getting a bit sloppy in defence to give Burnley some hope. Manchester City won both games last season 2-1 and can see a similar scenario happening here with both teams scoring but the home side doing enough to edge thispin
