Napoli vs Inter by Danlaw
Napoli's performance in the Champions league clash against Man City in Manchester left much to talk about. It was clear they could have gotten a result on a luckier day. Even though they lost, there were a lot of positives to take to this game against Inter Milan. If they could play like that against Guardiola's City, they could do it against any team in Italy.
Napoli and Inter have been in similar form in the League. Napoli have won all their 8 matches and are in the number 1 position with the maximum 24 points. Inter have won 7 out of 8 and drew the other and are in number 2 with 22 points. So both teams come into this match with lots of confidence to draw from.
Napoli are undefeated in 20 games in the Seria A. Maurizio Sarri's (Napoli Manager) first loss at home as Napoli Manager only came after one year and it was against Inter in the copa Italia. Luciano Spalleti won here in Naples against Napoli last season with AS Roma; but Inter Milan have never won in Naples against Napoli in the league in twenty years but considering this is their best start to the league in fifteen years, one can say they have a fighting chance of getting result here.Again, Napoli would likely be without Insigne for this match. Jorginho and Allan will be available for Napoli though, as they were left out of the team against Manchester City, probably with this game in mind.
I have a gut feeling that this will end a draw, but it is had for me to tip that here as I have had many cases of near misses in my bold predictions and tips that have made my returns appear very poor. I would rather comfortably dwell in the goals market for this as I believe there would be goals, even though it will be a relatively tight game, especially in the first half as none of the teams would want to lose. Both teams to score and over 2.5 is it for me. I will encourage more daring folks to go for the draw.
