M. Bucks vs Cleveland Cavs by Demogorgon

The Cavaliers were a bit off in the first game of the season, yet they managed to get a narrow win (102-99) against the Celtics , the most improved team and what looked like their main competitors for the Eastern Championship. The thing is that the Celtics lost Hayward to a terrible injury early in the match and the Cavs did not take advantage of the shock on the Celtic' side during that match, except from the fact aht they did well defensively, holding them at 40% FG but it was rather a Celtics issue than a Cavs achievement.

Anyway, many things changed in Cleveland this season, they got too much talent and depth in guard positions despite the departure of Irving, and that's something that is going to work for them at least offensively as now they have one of the best, if not the very best team by far in the East when it comes to shooting and creating.

●Cavs wont have major absences, appart from I.Thomas who is about to return on January.

The Bucks on the other hand, also faced the Celtics in their first game of the season and second for the Celtics, where they won (100-108) on the road to record their first win and of course a very important win on the road agaisnt a top team. Things went smooth for them, as they shot with a huge average of 56,4% 2p-fg and 33,3% fg from 3p! but they were not good defensively, despite the shock in the Celtics side and the fatigue on a back to back match to start the season, yet the Bucks allowed 100 points with a 44,4% 2p and a high 39,3% 3p-fg. Which could mean trouble for them, as if the Bucks perform like that against a team with twice the depth of the Celtics at guard positions and that likes to hit many shots from distance, things might get ugly for the hosts in this match!

●The Bucks will miss Jbari Pakrer untill February, no other injuries/ absences.

It is very hard to predict the final outcome in this match, as if the Bucks have the passion and determination that they had in last season's meetings with the Cavs and play that ultra tight defense looking to not allow a single open shot to the visitors, then they have a decent edge in this match, though if their bench will prove to be way beyond the required level to compete against the Cavs bench (which is the case for me), then things wont be easy at all for the hosts in this match! Which one will be the decisive factor, you may decide on your own!

What i like the most though, is the over in this match from what i have seen by those sides so far. They both like to run and hit on fastbreaks, both have very good shooters and their previous meetings had usualy high scores, while i dont think the Bucks will look to push themselves here and play hard defense as there is no reason so early in the season and Hayward's injury had an impact in every player so far and they take it easier.
