Dynamo Kiev (1) vs Young Boys (2)

Dynamo Kiev have started very good, with 2 straight wins: 3-1 at home vs Skënderbeu in the first match, followed by 2-3 away win vs Partizan after turning the match around. I think chances are big for them to stand with 9 points after tonight.

The hosts are coming from a 2-1 loss away vs Chornomorets (10) in the league, actually they haven’t won since the win vs Partizan in late September. But normally Dynamo Kiev are very strong at home and can create trouble for most teams. Last 13 home matches: 11-2-0. Defender Vida are reported doubtful and their good midfielder Tsygankov are injured for tonight.

Young Boys are in the lead at home in Switzerland, standing with 7-2-2 in total. They are also coming from a loss though, away vs Lausanne Sport (6) losing it 2-1. This team are a lot stronger at home vs on their travels, away record in the league: 2-2-1. In the Europe League group they are standing with 0-2-0 after 1-1 matches against both Partizan at home & Skënderbeu away. Defender Benito, midfielders Sulejmani & Bertone + striker Hoarau are all injured and won’t play tonight.

* The two teams have already met this season, in the third round of the Champions League Qualification this summer.

* Dynamo Kiev won the home match 3-1.

* Young Boys won their home match 2-0.

Taking in mind that Dynamo Kiev are a really strong home team, I consider them as favourites here. Their attacking lineup with players like Moraes, Kravets & Mbokani will for sure create trouble for the guests here. Also, the hosts are probably fired up to win this after the Champions League failure against the same team back in July. Home win expected.
