Bayern vs Celtic by Blackcrow

Bayern Munich returned to winning ways with a very comfortable 5-0 home win over 16th placed Freiburg. Prior to that they had successive 2-2 draw with Hertha Berlin (13th) and Wolfsburg (14th) as well as a embarrassin 3-0 lost to PSG in the Champions League which could have been much worse. This saw the sacking of their manager Ancelotti and now have a former manager in Heynckes back in charge. They should be much better for it and expect them to have some more of their usual swagger but will have to do this without Ribery. Though they still have the likes of Lewandowski and Muller to score the goals, much more will depend on Robben to provide the service

Celtic dominate the Scottish league but face an uphill battle to be competitive in this game. They will be facing a much more confident Bayern side but can see the away side causing them some problems. Celtic won 3-0 at Anderlecht to show that they are a decent side, and they will not be as open as they were when they lost 5-0 to PSG, and expect them to have learnt from this, and set up their team accordingly. Bayern beat Anderlecht 3-0 at home in the Champions League, and Celtic showed they are much better side than the Belgians, so like them to keep this closer, and especially look to frustrate the home side from the start of the game. They will be looking to get a point from this game, and expect them to have a more defensive approach. Doubt that their will be many goals in this game
