Chelsea vs Roma by Danlaw

Chelsea have not had the best of campaign in the Premier league so far, losing three times in eight games but seeing how they were rampant against lowly Qarabag and how they controlled the game against a decent Atletico Madrid side, one can't read too much into their League form. They have striker Alvaro Moratta coming back from injury but Victor Moses has a harmstring that has prevented him from training since the loss against Crystal Palace on Saturday and would most likely sit out this, but in new Italian signing, Davide Zappacosta, they have a capable replacement. Midfield anchor, Kante, is still out for Chelsea and has proved a massive blow so far.

AS Roma are 5th in the Italian league after 7 games, winning 5 times and losing twice. They like to keep things tight at the back when they chase a result against a superior team. They are second behind Chelsea in the group with four points and would definitely play for a point tonight. they played a goalless draw against Atletico Madrid in Rome and defeated Qarabag away 2:1. Tonight, they welcome back midfielder Strootman and attacker El Shaarawy.

I think Chelsea, with the attack they have, would prove too much for Roma and win in a low scoring game.

CB Manolas is out due to injury, a big loss at the back, Fazio should replace him.
