Man City vs Napoli by Pacifier

Man City continued their superb form again at the weekend when they ran out 7-2 winners against Stoke. That result makes it nine wins in a row in all competition and they do not look like slowing down any time soon. They started this season champions league with a comfortable win away at Feyenoord and followed with another 2-0 win at home to Shakhtar. They face another threat in Napoli and a victory tonight will take them closer to making the next round. They are without Kompany and Mendy who are both injured but we could see Aguero again on the bench after making the substitute list against Stoke so we could see the same starting 11 that tore Stoke apart.

Napoli are absolutely flying in the Serie A and remain the only team in Europe`s top five leagues to boast a 100% record. They won 1-0 away at Roma over the weekend and face their toughest opponent yet tonight. They lost their champions league opener away to Shakhter by 2-1 but recovered to beat Dutch champions Feyenoord by 3-1. They need to pick up at least a point in this game to give themselves some belief of making it to the next round. Their only injury concern is Poland Striker Arkadiusz Milik and they could start with the attacking trio of Insigne- Mertens- Callejon in a 4-3-3 formation supported by Jorginho, Allan and Hamsik.

This match has the potential to be match of the day with both side being very attack minded. Guardiola possession based, high line brand of football could play nicely into the super fast attacking trio of Napoli on the counter and this match has the potential of a classic encounter much like last season game between City and Monaco which ended 5-3 on that day.

Considering the brand of football both teams play, and Napoli need of points, I reckon City will control proceeding as any Guardiola team would seek to do but that could open them up at the back and I anticipate a high scoring game in this
