Perth Glory vs Central Coast by Jumanjiyo
I have mentioned about Perth here previously. Last week we predicted BTTS & over 2,5 goals which ended up as a win with a result of 2-2. Having said that , still against Newcastle Jets, Perth still did not have the offensive rhythm that we used to see last year. They have the same coach, some offensive line up and in addition at number 8 position they have Xavi joined them this season. They were just a bit better than they were vs Western Sydney in terms of offensive speed and creativity. And that still was enough to produce two goals. This time they are at home and the opponent is CC mariners. And their style of football will be more productive against them. CC mariners will also push the tempo higher. Having said that I expect Diego Castro to be more dominant in this game. He had one assist in the opening goal vs Jets.
The CC Mariners are much better team than they were last year. They have made very good additions to their roster. I always have liked Andrew Hoole and he has started to impress already vs Western Sydney where he posted 2 assists. He boots the creativity and speed of their transition game and against Perth I believe they will have plenty of space in the counter attacks. De Silva also has started the season of fire.
I believe in their first home game coach Kevin Lowe will prepare his team in the best way and we will see sign of Perth Glory that we used to see last year. Remember this team with the same offensive line up scored 3 or more goals 11 times last season. And they have an opponent who can answer them back as they played last week vs Western Sydney. I expect to see minimum 3 goals in this meeting with the insurance of money back in case of 3 goals.
