Espanyol (14) vs Levante (10)
Espanyol have disappointed in the start of the season when looking at the points. But it is important to remember that they already have faced Barcelona (1) & Real Madrid (5) (both away & both ending with losses). They are standing with 2-2-3 and 7-11 goal difference. The first home match of the season ended with a very disappointing loss 0-1 vs Leganes (7), but after this Celta (11) got beaten 2-1 and last home match they won 4-1 vs Deportivo (15). Victor Sanchez, Javi Lopez & Navarro are all reported doubtful for tonight.
Levante are standing with 2-3-2 and 8-10 goal difference so far. They lost the last 2 matches before the World Cup qualification break, 4-0 away vs Betis (6) & 0-2 at home vs Alaves (19). Specially in the loss vs Alaves, they performed very bad. As a new promoted team, they probably know that this season will be a fight against relegation, but their start has been pretty decent. Lopez, Marti, Jason & Garcia are all injured and won’t play this match.
A normally solid home team as Espanyol should be able to win this match without the biggest problems in my opinion, and I dont think Levante will create much. Chances should be big for a 2+ win for the hosts here, and the odds we get are very nice imo.
