Liverpool vs Sevilla by Rahul

Liverpool come into this encounter on the back of one of their most embarrassing displays till date; a 5-0 loss to Manchester City which will need some recovering especially since Liverpool played all their starting XI in that game. Manager Klopp might expect to make some changes including the possible return of Coutinho to the starting XI as part of a midfield 3; while leaving the front 3 of Mane, Firmino and Salah un-disturbed. While Liverpool struggled in that game; they have smashed 12 goals in their 4 games played at home so far, winning 3 and drawing 1 of them. Defensively though is where the concern always is for Liverpool, as they cannot help but concede goals especially since they hadn't strengthened in the summer. In their 6 games played this season; they have already conceded 11 goals in those encounters.

Sevilla have been the darlings of the Europa League but couldn't translate that form in the Champions League; especially after they got embarrassed losing to Leicester in the knockout stages last year. Sevilla have started out this season undefeated in their 5 competitive fixtures; winning 3 and drawing 2; including a 2-leg win over Istanbul in the qualifying round. Sevilla have lost a few players including the likes of Iborra, Vitolo and Rami; but have strengthened by adding Nolito, Navas, Benega, Muriel, Kjaer to help them in their new season's champions league campaign. Defensively, they haven't been the greatest also, conceding goals in 3 out of their 5 encounters played this season.

Liverpool will look for revenge against Sevilla who beat them in the finals of the Europa League by a score of 3-1; and I am expecting a similar exciting tie; much like we can expect in most games involving Liverpool. Over 2.5 Goals and both teams to score is what I am expecting in this game.
