Liverpool vs Sevilla by IMW
Liverpool started the season very well. They qualified for the Champions League against Hoffenheim and could win 7 points out of their first 3 games in the Premier League. But then in the fourth match against Man City they got trashed with 5:0. Mane got an early red card because he hit the City goalkeeper Ederson in the face, after that Liverpool had massive problems in the match and it seemed that they already gave up at this point. Anyway, currently they are 8th in the league with 7 points so far. Adam Lallana, Adam Bogdan and Danny Ings are long-term absentees, Salah is doubtful as he was sent home from training due illness and Clyne is injured too. Coutinho is questionable too but I think he will play.
Liverpool has a very good offensive lineup with the likes of Mane, Firmino and new man Salah, who came from Roma. They already scored 14 goals out of only 6 games and expect that match against City they managed to score in every game in this season so far.
Sevilla also had a good start. With two wins and a draw they are 3th in La Liga and with the CL qualification against Istanbul they are unbeaten so far. Sevilla has a good attack too. 9 goals in 5 matches finding the net in ever game but couldn't keep a clean sheet in 3 of them. Summer signings Nolito and Johannes Geis have both been left out of the touring squad, Banega will be available again und Kjaer will most likely play again after beeing rested against Eibar in their last match.
Both teams are fully motivated to get a result out of this match but I see Liverpool in the favorite role here. They have a very good attack but also they don't seem to defend very well lately as they lost 5:0 last match. I'm pretty sure they will find the net here but also can't keep a clean sheet against a team who also showed that they are good in scoring goals.
