Arsenal vs Leicester by Rahul

Leicester City come into he new Premier league season after surviving well at the end of last season getting some critical victories against lower sides in order to maintain their survival. With some minor additions to the squad the team are looking ahead this season to crack back to the top 10; with a lot of players still in the squad from their title winning season couple of years. With Riyad Mahrez likely to start in this game, he should be well supported by the likes of Marc Albrighton on the other wing to create opportunities for Jamie Vardy and Okazaki who are likely to play up front. The bombing full backs of Simpson and Fuchs will also be looking to pump the ball into the box to take advantage of a unsettled Arsenal lineup who are made up together after a lot of injuries and suspensions.

Leicester City have averaged over 5 corners per game over the last season with a very similar lineup as which will start up this game. While their finishing in front of goal was less than ideal, which was one of the biggest reasons for their struggles, they have still managed to get nearly 4 corners per game due to their struggles in front of goal and creating away from home.

Arsenal at home have conceded over 4.5 corners per game as the defense had moments where they have been struggling through last season with Cech's indifferent form. With Wenger changing to the new 3-5-2 formation; it leaves spaces in the middle for the Leicester wide players to take care off, which often would result in players in pushing the ball away from the goal in order to keep it clear at the back.

This game clearly will have Arsenal dominating a lot of game, aiming to get their season off to a great start, so I expect Leicester to keep trying to score and only being able to generate a lot of corners at best.
