Polansky vs Federer by Vilcox

Roger Federer is back. After winning Wimbledon, one of the best players in the history of this sport, will come back on court in Montreal, Canada, for his first match of the tournament. He will face the number 116 in the world, Peter Polansky.

Roger Federer is playing one the best seasons of his carreer (maybe the best considering his age) as he is winning almost every single tournament that he plays. He is 31-2 this season and his only two losses came agains Haas and Donskoy (19-1) on hardcourts. In fact, on this surface, he has already won Australian Open, Miami and Indian Wells. Absolutely unreal!

Polansky, on the other hand, is a good player on this surface as he is played a lot of tournaments in the last month on hard courts but he plays mostly challengers and lower tournaments. It's clear that he can't give match to Roger Federer and he will lose this one in straight sets. Also, his serve is very poor and I don't see him holding the serve too many times...he should be broken AT LEAST once in both sets. (6-3/6-4 would be perfect). These two players met one time in Toronto and Roger Federer won 6-2/6-0.

It's true that this will be the first match after Wimbledon for Roger Federer but I'm not afraid about this...it's crazy to think that Polansky will give problems to the swiss and I'm expecting not more than 19 games in this one.
