FAC Wien vs Wattens by Filipson

The guests are the clear favorites in this game, and it is really hard for me to imagine any other outcome here. Wattens lost the 1st game to Hartberg 1:0, and I had a feeling they would have equalized if there wasn't for the red card the got in the 64th minute. But after that they booked 2 wins, against Liefering 1:0 and Kapfenberg 3:1, having performed very well, and if they continue this way their run may extend for a long period of time. The guests had problems in defensive lines last season, having allowed way too many goals, and if they managed to get better in that aspect in the new campaign, they may get involved in something serious.

FAC Wien have continued with the same displays from the previous season. They avoided relegation in the very last rounds, booking some good results out of desperation, so they had 5 points more than Horn in the end. However, the hosts from Vienna haven't become any better, as they have all 3 defeats in the new campaign, 3 quite bad defeats. They have allowed 11 goals in the those matches, scoring in each of them though, but that doesn't change the fact they were completely outplyed. A.Lustenau crushed them 5:1 in the 1st game here, and they even missed 2 penalties so the result could have been way worse. After that, Hartberg and Ried scored 3 times each against them. The defence of FAC is just so weak and slow that it is a miracle they haven't conceded more goals, and it is obvious they will struggle immensely in that aspect.

After 2 draws last season in their duels, Wattens won the next 2 against FAC, both without even conceding. This one really smells like another win of the visitors, who have found a very good pace and will be looking to continue that way against a completely wrecked team of FAC Wien. Good luck to all!
