Special bets vs Sara Kolak by GameChanger

This one is pretty straight forward, Kolak has a best distance this year with 68.43 meters and she is a current Olympic winner in javelin throw. Currently there isn't much competition in that discipline, especially in women javelin throw and only realistic oppononent of Kolak is Spotakova which one gold only one time and that was 10 years ago, also I think that odds shouldn't be equal with this two athletes because Kolak is in her best form of life and she had couple of great results this year while Spotakova didn't have that "amazing" throw in a while now.

I think that Sara Kolak should be bigger favourite and I don't think that Spotakova could repsresent such a big threat as bookies are showing. Kolak is best thrower right now and she is dominating this season and I think that she will continue with her domination.

Pick: Javelin throw winner - Sara Kolak

Pretty poor preview if make it out like Kolak is sure winner. Is it cause she is from Croatia as are you?

Kolak is young and took surprise win in Rio. "Spotakova only one win ten years ago" LOL what a statement. Spotakova is very experienced and has numerous wins in about 12 years including two olympic golds. She bets Kolak in experiece hands down. Yes she is getting old and lately has not been at her best.

Kolak has good opportunity to win but so has Spotakova and maybe one or two more women. But Kolak winning is by no means sure, a lot depends on the day and who is in best shape tonight.

@Simen

Lyu had a couple of good throws this season and he had a good throw in this qualifers but her best throw in career is around 3 and a half meters shorter than Sara's best throw. Also se she was only 23rd in last 2016 Olympics.

@JamesK
My nationality doesn't have anything with this preview and this is actually my first preview on Croatian athlete since November last year so yeah.. I have never played or picked someone because of its nationality.

Secondly, she might won Rio with surprise but after she has proven that it wasn't accident and if you read my preview she has a best distance this season and no one was really close to her this season so we can see that wasn't just lucky.

Spotakova was 3rd in Olympics and realisticly there was absoulutely no one in Olympics to beat her taking Bronze and competition was very very slim so her bronze with just 64 meters is a under average result. Also, she was 9th her last champioship which is below every average result if you see competition in that champioship.
I don't get it why you think that Spotakova old results should have anything in this, yes she has a alot of experience but we didnt see he experience last champioship and her 9th result.

I would prefer thrower who is by far best in the world this season and has a best distance by far rather than old "experienced" thrower who hasn't been in top form for a while now and her WC throw of 60 meters in 2015 isn't anything to be scared of.
