Tranmere vs Woking by DrVonKlaps

England National League, Round 2

Tranmere Rovers (1.36) vs Woking (9.85)

My betting philosophy is that betting has to do with odds and searching for odds that are (at least in my opinion) inaccurate in reflecting real probabilities.

Only one Round has elapsed and Bookmakers are pretty much sure of the outcome of the match as odds indicate. My objection here is that no one can have a clear picture of the teams with just only match elapsed. So, these odds are not enough justified. And all that in English football, in which anyone can beat everyone and we know this for a fact.

Tranmere are the favorites, bacause they are a better team and almost succeded last year to promote, could be the answer. They are the favorites, despite a not successful start, (0-0 against Torquay) with 2 players sent off (defender Mc Naulty and forward Norwood faced the red card). So, chances have to be made in the starting line-up.

Woking on the other hand defeated in the first League match Gateshead 2-1 and the score could be 3-1 taking to account important chances that were created.

I do not disagree than Tranmere Rovers are the favorites, but Anthony Limbrick's side is not to be underestimated. The probabilities of Woking are indeed underestimated by the odds.

Frankly, 9.85 for away win just after one match played, after a performance of Tranmere that you can not discribe as superb and after a good performance of Woking, seems to me of no sense.

So I will put my stake on the odds that are in my opinion wrong.
