Jeonbuk vs Ulsan Hyundai by Hassy

Jeonbuk
VS
Ulsan-Hyundai
After our double success in S Korea I am staying over in Asia but heading to Korea and will be hoping that the league leaders and best team in the league by a mile can see of the challenge of Ulsan. Joenbuk won the league last season but it was deemed that at some stage they got into some misdemeanors which meant their title was rescinded and handed to Ulsan Hyundai instead.

However, that issue clearly hasn't had a negative effect on the side, if anything it seems to have made them more determind to win the title again this season. They currently sit top of the league table with 50 points of 24 games, four points clear of Suwon but also have a game in hand on their nearest rivals.

The hosts have won 6 of their last eight games and have lost two but both of those games were away from home. Overall, in eleven home games they have won 8 drawn 2 and lost once. The home defeat was way back in early May though so that is well and truly out of their system. Joenbuk have shown their dominance in the league thus far by scoring 26 goals at home alone and they have scored four goals or more thrice already. Their last four home games have seen scorelines of 4-1, 4-0, 2-2 and 4-1 so they are definitely banging the goals in.

Visitors Ulsan have had a fairly solid league campaign so far and find themselves in third place. However, this is based more on their home form which has seen them win seven times. Away from home they struggle to score goals (averaging only one goal a game) and they have failed to win on six out of eleven occasions on the road. They too come into the game in decent form, losing only once but they have drawn three and have recorded wins against the three lowest teams in the league.

Overall, these teams met three matches ago and Joenbuk recorded a 4-0 win. Despite only two places separating them in the table their is a seven point gap. Joenbuk are miles better, and the fact they have scored 14 goals in their last four games suggests to me that they have hit their straps and are marching on blowing everyone away. Joenbuk boast the best defence and best attack in the league, they sit second in the form table and the games I have watched them recently just look too good and odds on offer are good enough for me to make them my pick of the day.pin
