I'm not sure everyone is familiar how the lines and the odds move in pro american sports. So, while some of you may know - the others for sure don't. Well, the odds can change - move - in two ways only. One and the most common way is when the odds change according to the money wagered on one or another side. In baseball - since the lines can't move as they are fixated on -1.5 for a run line - the only thing that can indicate some sort of the movement are the odds. So, for an example (yeah, I re,member that I still have to explain what is the second reason the odds move), the opening odds for the Padres in this game were 2.85 for a win. Now they are at 2.40 only. That means that there was most of the money on the Padres. But, then, if we check the amount of the money and the wagers - we will discover that the Pirates have 4-1 edge. So, how did the odds became what they became against the math? That is called reverse movement. One way or another - with the money or without - we are being bagged to back the Pirates here. And that is why we will do completely opposing thing and bet the Padres
