Osijek vs PSV Eindhoven by Dajkula

Osijek welcomes PSV in the return leg of the 3`rd qualifying round of the Europa League. Osijek has 1:0 from the first match but is is still a mountain to climb. Cocu has been under fire by the media and probably the management. His position isn` that secure and it doesn`t take a lot for him to leave. So I pressume this time the visitors will be willing to play and they need to score 2 goals.

Osijek has a great match in the first leg and was very tight in defense. They came out strong on a couple of times and were rewarded for showing much more going forward than the hosts. PSV was lacking real convinction and determination in that match. Like they didn`t know or care who they are playing against. It was supposed to be a walk in the park but now it will be very dificult in 38+°C.

It is not common to be this hot so it will be the same for both teams I guess. Osijek has an advantage from the first match but as shown in the away match vs Luzern the lack of experience may cost them.

Osijek was totally out of the game having a 2:0 home advantage and entered the game badly. They were dominated and only by sheer luck and Ejupi they managed to go threw.

Now Osijek has the advantage and coach Zekic will structure the team defensively. It has worked well in the first match and the lineup will be the same. Osijek rested 9 players against Dinamo and the team should be fresh.

Cocu will make changes and go seriously in this match. Lozano, Propper and Pereiro will start the match and try to put Osijek under pressure early.

It is not Champions League so how motivated PSV really is remains to be seen. The difference between leagues is big and PSV is with right a big favorite. I would probably prefer to lose this bet anyway.

I remember when PSV lost 0-2 to Ludogorets at home for Europa League and then everybody said that in Bulgaria they will score 3-4 goals easily but they again lost with 2-0(4-0) on agg.In the end everything pointed lack of motivation and interest.I dont think PSV want to play in LE.The title and the UCL qualifications are their main target.I see under or draw.
