Quentin Halys vs Dzumhur by Rasikelli

ATP - SINGLES: Los Cabos (Mexico), hard - 1/8-finals

Halys Q. (126) vs Dzumhur D. (87)

So, my pick is Halys to win.

Unfortunately I don`t have time for full write-up, sorry for lack of arguments.

Its first time when these players will play against each other. If we look at players games history Dzumhur is playing clay tournaments while Halys - hard. Halys played 10 games on hard this season (by saying this season I mean after the hard tournament break, last tournament were held in 03 month), so from those 10 games Halys have 8 wins 2 losses. First loss were because of lack of expierience on hard this season, he were playing against Galovic (no name atp 240+) and other loss were 2:1 against Muller. Halys won against Karlovic in his last game and with this kind of a record I think he is in prime form.

Dzumhur played only 1 game on hard this season and he won against Daniels (90+) 2:1, i cant see anything from this game. Game was close and from score I think that Dzumhur is only getting used to hard.

I know that these kind of arguments could look dumb "oh he played a long time ago on hard so he lost", yeah but, really I cant see any arguments for Dzumhur here, he played mostly clay and Halys mostly hard. Halys looking solid on hard, while Dzumhur was struggling on his first game. So I just can`t see any reason to pick Dzumhur here. Both players are same level, Halys just looks solid on this court and i`m going with him here - simple. Odds are dropping for Halys as you read, by the way, so i would definetly bet 1 unit on Halys, because, in my opinion, its value to bet on Halys.

Some bookmekers have 1.83 for Halys win, others still - 2.00. Good luck if you tail.
