Olympiakos vs Partizan by Filipson

This game should be more open than the 1st one, and even in that match we saw 4 goals. Partizan simply have to go forward here and try pulling off a miracle. This is football and everyhing is possible, but eliminating Olympiakos at home, after such a result from the 1st game, seems a bit too much, let's face it.

Anyway, I see this game being very exciting, as the visitors must attack and try scoring an early goal, and we saw in Belgrade that Partizan can easily put a good resistance to Olympiakos. The Greek side won the 1st match thanks to the amateur mistakes of the Partizan, who basically scored own goals in that game. The Serbian team dominated the 1st half, and had some solid situations in the 2nd, but simply lacked focus. Such experienced teams like Olympiakos always take advantage of that, and that is simply something Partizan cannot afford anymore. They have nothing to lose here, as they are already seen as eliminated, so a brave approach might bring them something. The visitors will be without probably the best player Leonardo, who is most likely going to be sold to Metz, but the new aquisition and the most expensive player in Partizan's history, Seydoubah Soumah, is a natural replacement for Leonardo and will fill in his shoes, as he has to justify all the money spent on him. Coach Djukic has also eliminated the midfielder Kosovic from the squad, as he had a very bad performance in the 1st game.

Olympiakos are still to find a perfect chemistry, and their legs seem heavy, but they do have the quality and I see them progressing for sure. However, this match may not be as easy for them as people think, and I would rather go for goals. The visitors have a shaky defence, but they are doing pretty nicely in attack, and if they manage to score 1st, this match can explode. Good luck to all!
