Basaksehir vs Club Brugge by Filipson
After watching the 1st game I am pretty sure we will see another efficient game in Turkey. Basaksehir were losing 2:0 after the 1st 45 minutes, but then scored 3 goals, completely dominating the 2nd half. However, they couldn't secure the win and allowed the 3rd goal. We saw plenty of chances in that game, especially from Basaksehir, who performed quite nicely in their 1st official game ofthe season. The Turkish side signed 2 very good players, Elia from Feyenoord and the good old Gael Clichy, who have brought that extra quality to the squad. They are one attacking-minded team, with a lot of power up front. The hosts perform especially well at home, as they finished the last season without a loss in front of their fans, which surely gives them a lot of confidence for the clash with Club Brugge.
The visitors from Belgium failed to win in the 1st game, although they were leading 2:0. Despite playing a tie, the squad showed they are very merciless in converting chances into goals, scoring 3 times from 4 shots on goal. On top of that, they have just crushed Lokeren in the 1st round of the Belgian Jupiler league 4:0, on the road, which surely adds more weight to their win. Objectively, they were outplayed in the 1st game, but they are one quality side and surely not to be underestimated, primarely because they have more experience as the club in these European competitions. I deffinitely see them going forward and trying to win.
This is a very active result and nothing has been decided yet. Their duel a weak ago showed these two teams can throw a great football show, and I am convinced we will se another game like that. In addition, I am leaning towards the hosts here, so another option may be 1&over 2.5, but this one seems safer. Good luck to all!
