Lorenzi vs Chiudinelli by Atipico07

Very interesting match in Gstaad between Paolo Lorenzi and Marco Chiudinelli where I'm expecting the italian to win in straight sets. There's big difference between these two players and Lorenzi is in a very good form.

In fact, Lorenzi played last week in Umago and he lost only against the young Rublev in the final in straight sets. Before that loss, he won against Bedene, Vesely and Giannessi. He is a very good player on this surface and he is much more better player than Chiudinelli.

Chiudinelli, on the other hand, is in a very poor form...he is coming to this match after 6 losses in the last 7 matches played. He played last week in Newport losing in straight sets his first match on grass. On clay, he is playing even worse. He lost 9 of the last 10 matches played and all of these losses came in straight sets.

All I see here is Lorenzi dominating the game. He will feel much more comfortable as he played last week on clay while this will be Chiudinelli's first match on clay after 2 months.

Also, as I said before, Chiudinelli is playing very bad and he will suffer a lot against a clay court expert imo. I see value for Lorenzi to win in straight sets here.pin
