JOHN ISNER vs MATTHEW EBDEN
The big John Isner cruised into final by beating his compatriot Bjorn Fratangelo 6:2 6:4. As I said yesterday in my review John has been serving incredible this week. He is landing a high percentage of first serves and haven't faced a break point yet. I believe that the crowd will be on his side as they want an American champion crowned in Newport.
Matthew Ebden is mainly a challenger level player, for me it is quite surprising that he got to the final as his experience on the ATP level is low but in my opinion it's not because he played great it's because he had to face weak players. But even though he faced weak players he allowed far too many break chances, and if he will do the same against the big American, he will loose pretty quickly. And another factor could be nerves of the first ATP final and the fact that the crowd will be cheering for Isner
This is the safest bet this weak IMO. If you can find Isner to win + under 23.5 than go for that, I couldn't find it on these bookies and I didn't want to risk with under 22.5 even though I believe it will be under 22.5 too
