Lech Poznan vs Sandecja by Tiniw
Very big changes in Lech.
Lech sold 3 very good players and the best scorer of the league is not playing.
Lech scored very good striker (young, talanted) Kownacki to Sampdoria, Kedziora (def. to Dinamo Kiev) and defender Bednarek to Southmapton (6mln Euro).
Hosts signed more than 10 new players!
Nicklas Bärkroth (P - IFK Norrköping), Vernon De Marco (O - ŠK Slovan Bratysława), Emir Dilaver (O - Ferencvárosi TC), Dariusz Formella (P - Arka Gdynia), Wojciech Golla (O - NEC (Nijmegen)), Robert Gumny (O - Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała), Christian Gytkjær (N - TSV München von 1860), Rafał Janicki (O - Lechia Gdańsk), Kamil Jóźwiak (P - GKS Katowice), Dawid Kurminowski (N - rezerwy), Jakub Moder (P - rezerwy), Deniss Rakels (P - Reading FC), Jakub Serafin (P - Bytovia Bytów), Mario Šitum (P - GNK Dinamo (Zagrzeb)), Nikola Vujadinović (O - CA Osasuna) and Makuszewski have returned from the loan.
They should be stronger than in 2016/17 season as Robak played not many minutes in the last part of the season, he had a conflict with the coach.
Rakels was one of the best player in Ekstraklasa before he left to England (injures etc), he had many goals and assists. Gumny is a talent from Lech academy (he was loaned). Christian Gytkjær was a best scorer in Norway and then he moved to 1860 Munich. Situm have already scored a goal in EL game.
Hosts have the same very good coach and Sandecja are only a newcomer and their roster is much worse than Lech's.
Lech will have also big number of fans on the stands and they will certainly be 12th player. Lech played in last 3 Polish Cup finals (and lost all of them)
