Kansas vs Texas Rangers by Blackcrow

Kennedy starts for Kansas as he has a 3-6 record with a 4.45 ERA but has pitched well in his last five starts, allowing just nine runs in total, as he has won three and had no decisions in his two other starts. Though he has yet to win at home and during the day, he is getting hit a rate of .216 and .229 respectively, so he is keeping his team in the hunt for a win but has not been getting the run support he needs. That was the case against Texas back in April, as he allowed just one run on four hits in seven innings in the 2-1 road loss to them as the Rangers are hitting him at a low rate of .203 (27 hits in 133 at-bats). Like him to pitch well again, but believe that the Royals will give him the run support he needs to avoid the sweep

Texas start with Darvish who has a 6-8 record with a 3.49 ERA as Texas has lost his last five games he has started in, as they have scored just 11 runs in these five games, but conceded 28 runs. While he has pitched well, it has been his bullpen who have not supported him as they have given up 11 of these runs. Against Kansas, he allowed two runs on five hits in the 5-2 home win over them back in April, and they are hitting him at a rate of .237 (23 of 97). Going with Kansas here to get a much needed win as they have done well for Kennedy of late, while the same cannot be said of what Texas has done for Darvish
