Venus Williams - Johanna Konta

Venus Williams is at one step of her second Grand Slam final of the year, at 37 years of age. This is already stunning.

She has reached here by taking out Elise Mertens, Qiang Wang, Naomi Osaka, Ana Konjuh and the fresh Roland Garros champion, Jelena Ostapenko. The first three matches were longer but, after she has calibrated her serve, in the past two she came out very solid and made them shorter, despite the competition was raising the level.

In the meantime, Johanna Konta took out Su-Wei Hsieh, Donna Vekic, Maria Sakkari, Carline Garcia and Simona Halep. She has been raising the level as well and has been playing two particularly tremendous matches against Vekic and Halep, where the level of tennis was extremely high.

Williams and Konta have met before 5 times, the American winning twice while the british took the other three wins.

All but one of those 5 matches had at least 22 games played and the fact that they are now playing on grass should only increase that number.

These two have been serving in the past matches at percentages more likely to meet in men's game and I see small chances for breaks of serves today.

My money are going on the over 22 games played here, with a smaller bet going even on over 28.5 games.

Best of luck with your bets ;)
