Leicester vs Atletico Madrid by MarcLonsain
Leicester will be facing Atletico tonight in the return of the Champions League. First match ended up in a small victory for Atletico where they should have scored more goals. Atletico dominated the game at home leaving Leicester with 0 attempts on target in a game where Leicester already played without captain Morgan but with centre defender Huth who will be missing this match. Wes Morgan is a question mark fort his one. Leicester did not have the best game of their season ahead to this one. They played against Crystal Palace away and drawed 2-2 after being 0-2 ahead in a match were Crystal was the better team actually, so it was not an easy game to play towards this Champions League game and it did cost them a lot of energy.
I already talked about missing Huth and question mark Morgan, but here is the possible line-up for Leicester:
Schmeichel; Fuchs, Morgan, Benalouane, Simpson; Albrighton, Drinkwater, Ndidi, Mahrez; Vardy, Okazaki
Atletico Madrid have had an easy game in La Liga last weekend. They played against Osasuna at home and got a comfortable 3-0 win. Griezmann did not play this game to be fit for this game against Leicester. I know that Ateltico only need a draw to reach the next round, but they are so much better than Leicester as we saw in the first match between these teams. Now with Atletico only missing Gameiro and Leicester missing Huth, Mendy and Slimani and Morgan still a question mark I don’t see Leicester get a point here not even when Atletico only need a draw.
Possible line-up Atletico Madrid:
Oblak; Luis, Godin, Savic, Juanfran; Carrasco, Gabi, Saul, Koke; Torres, Griezmann
My pick will be Atletico Madrid to win,
Odds are dropping fast on this one!
Good luck tonight.
