Bolton vs Bury by Filipson

Bolton
VS
Bury
Bolton found themselves in a delicate situation by losing 2 games in a row. However, they are still on the 2nd place, with 3 more games until the end, so everything is still in their hands, or legs. It is hard to believe that they will continue losing points, as they do have more than enough quality for this league, and the players are aware of the situation. The goal is only one - returning to the Championship as easy as possible, so we can expect from them give everything they have today. Bolton have been solid at home lately, with 3 wins and 3 draws in the last 6 matches, and they have a chance to make that record better tonight. On top of that, they are still the best defence in the league with 36 goals allowed, and they do not allow that many goals at home, 16 in 21 matches so far. With a possible win, the hosts will have 4 points more than Fleetwood, which is from a huge importance for the next 2 rounds, as they can afford to play a tie in one of those games and still progress.

Bury are also in a need for points, as they are just a point away from the relegation zone. Even though they are in such a serious situation, I don't see some big efforts to survive, as they have 3 consecutive losses, among which one terrible defeat to Oxford 5:1. That is actually the only goal they scored in those 3 matches, showing they are pretty much down with morale. Bury have one of the worst defences in the league with 72 goals allowed, and they allow almost 2 goals per away game. I am not saying they won't try to stay unbeaten, but it is hard for me to imagine anything else than Bolton's win. The hosts have maybe had some insecurities in the last months, but this match is too important for them to let it go to waste. Good luck to all!
