Juventus
VS
Barcelona
Juventus takes on Barcelona in what looks to be clash of philosophies. Juventus prefers to stay tight at the back playing a bit pragmatically while Barcelona, well they like to just outscore opponents.

Juventus won with 3-0 aggregate score last round against Porto. The team looked confident in both games but this time the challenge is much larger. They also got a victory over Chievo and aggregate victory over Napoli. Juventus looks very confident at home. They defend well and let very few goals slip in. They kept a clean sheet in 6 of their last 8 games in the UEFA Champions League. They also managed to win 6 of their last 7. The only absent player for Juve is Marko Pjaca and Allegri will be pleased to be able to use the best of his team.

Barcelona come into this game after shocking defeat at Malaga. Last round in the Champions League they managed to do one of the greatest comebacks in the history after 6-1 victory over PSG in the second leg. Still the team looks shaky in terms of defense and sometimes even though they create tons of chances they fail to convert them. Blow for the Spanish side will be the suspension of Busquets which will further worsen their problems at the back. Still the main trio up front is up and running and it will be interesting to see how MSN goes against the solid Juventus defensive line.

The game could go either way actually. Still Allegri’s sheer pragmatism coupled with the home advantage gives the team confidence for a decent home result. My pick here is Juventus 0.0 AH for 1.869 at Pinancle. Good Luck!
