Sunderland vs Man. United by Blackcrow

Sunderland (20th) look certain to be relegated as they are nine points from safety with eight games to go for them. Their task has been made much harder given their inability to score goals as they have not scored in their last six games as they have managed to get one draw. Sunderland have lost 2-0 at Leicester (11th), lost 1-0 at Watford (10th), drew 0-0 at home to Burnley (12th), lost 2-0 at home to Man City (4th), lost 2-0 at Everton (7th) and lost 4-0 at home to Southampton (9th). Besides the game against Southampton they have not been comprehensively beaten so they will be competitive for this game. At home, Sunderland have not scored in their last four games, with the 0-0 draw with Tottenham (2nd) added to the mentioned games. An added spice for this game is their manager Moyes is facing the club that sacked him, and he will have his players up for this game. Moyes would love to not only win this, but also provide some answers to his critics that he was not the right choice for the job at Man Utd.

Man Utd (6th) look to maintain their chances of a Champions League spot as they are now seven points off fourth placed Man City but have two more games to play including this one. They have also had their problems in front of goal, as they are coming off a 1-1 home draw with Everton (7th) and 0-0 home draw with West Brom (8th). They did win 3-1 at Middlebrough (19th) before that but they also drew 1-1 at Bouremouth (15th) too, so they have not been scoring of late. Man Utd have had their share of injuries and suspensions which have not helped them, but they will be looking to their recent away record to help them win this game. They not only beat Boro, they also won 3-0 at Leicester (11th - before Ranieri's departure), drew 1-1 at Stoke (11th), and won 2-0 at both West Ham (15th) and Watford (10th). However there is one upcoming problem for them and that is their away trip to Anderlecht in the quarter final first leg of the Europa League. With pressure on Mourinho to obtain some silverware this season after spending huge amounts of money in his squad, then there may be some changes to the team to face Sunderland in order to rest them for this game against Anderlecht. Looks to be a low scoring game here
