Levanger vs Sandnes by 20legend

Levanger got a fairly good opening away against Ull/Kisa (2-2) last weekend. They have made a very good signing with Robert Stene arriving from Ranheim, and he presented himself right from the start. The striker gave Levanger the lead after 22 minutes of play in a half which was close with few chances both ways. However, Stene’s goal made the difference in the first half. The second half gave the same picture with two teams trying to get the upper hand without succeeding. Ull/Kisa manged to find a way through Levanger’s defensive line and equalized after 53 minutes. But the game did not explode after that either and we had to wait until the last 10 minutes before the action started. Ull/Kisa took the lead after 83 minutes through substitute Niklas Sandberg and it looked like three points for Ull/Kisa when the game entered stoppage time. However, Levanger managed to get the equalizer with the last kick of the ball which marked a fair draw in terms of the performance that was given by both teams.

Sandnes Ulf made a strong start with a win against newcomer Elverum (2-0) in the first game. Their top scorer from last season, Pontus Engblom, was sold to Stromsgodset before the season, but they have got a strong name to take his place with Kjell Rune Sellin from Sandefjord. He has a lot of experience from Eliteserien as well and he also scored in his debut against Elverum. Sandnes Ulf enjoyed total dominance as you would expect of a team that finished in 4th place last season. Kent Havard Eriksen, who had a great season last year, scored the first goal for Sandnes Ulf. It was really not much to take out of this game other than Sandnes Ulf being on track to another season among the top six teams.

I expect goals both ways here with goal getters in both clubs. Sandnes Ulf will definetley be in the top this season as well. They have strong names in their squad with plenty of experience from Eliteserien and will clearly take profit from that in a long season. Levanger showed in the start of last year what they can do offensively, and a striker like Robert Stene is maybe just what they need in order to keep the offensive level for a longer time than last season. Both teams to score seem like a good option here.
