Bournemouth vs Chelsea by Rahul

Bournemouth are looking to take advantage of the good form where they have now gone 5 games in a row unbeaten after failing to get a win in 2017. In this recent run of games they have beaten West Ham and Swansea while picking up draws against Liverpool, Man Utd and Southampton. The min-resurgence has moved them to 15th which gives them a bit of breathing room against the relegation sides. Bournemouth will turn to their key players Josh King, Jack Wilshere, Benik Afobe to help them score goals up front in order to turn on the pressure against Chelsea here. Bournemouth struggles on the defensive end are very evident ever since Nathan Ake went back to Chelsea. They have now conceded in 11 out of their last 13 games since the turn of the new year.

Chelsea have been circumspect in recent weeks where they have conceded goals now in each of their last 8 Premier League games in a row including against average/poor sides like Stoke, Crystal Palace, West Ham, Swansea and Burnley. Chelsea have been poor on the road as well defensively, conceding in 9 out of their 15 road games for the season. Chelsea's attacking strength has been there for all to see where they have scored in 14 straight games in all competition. A lot of their scoring in recent weeks has relied on Eden Hazard who is going through a purple patch and he has bene well supported by the likes of Pedro, Fabregas, Costa, Willian, Moses among the crew who attack the goal around him.

This game should be an entertaining one, like most of the games at the Vitality Stadium are. Chelsea's last 5 games have seen over 2.5 goals come through it; and I expect more of the same tonight as they aim to put the pressure on Tottenham who are 7 points behind them and playing earlier in the day. Over 2.5 goals is my pick for this game.
