QPR vs Brighton by Blackcrow

QPR (16th) are ten points off the relegation zone while are 16 points off a promotion playoff spot, so not much to play for here. They are coming off successive 1-0 losses on the road to Aston (11th) and Derby (9th), but they have played well at home, winning their last four games. QPR beat Rotherham (24th) 5-1, beat Barnsley (13th), Cardiff (14th) and Wigan (23rd) all by the same scoreline of 2-1. However before that, they lost 2-1 at home to Huddersfield (3rd) and now face another top side in Brighton. They have scored and conceded in each of their last eight home games, and can see both teams scoring here once again.

Brighton (2nd) are a point off top spot, and nine points off Huddersfield (who have a game in hand), and will look for the win to maintain that gap over Huddersfield and automatic promotion to the Premier League. They have won five of their last ten games on the road, with wins at Rotherham (24th) and Barnsley (13th) 3-0, won 2-1 at Fulham (7th) and Birmingham (18th), and won 3-2 at Blackburn (22nd). Brighton have lost at Leeds (5th) 2-0, at Nottingham Forest (20th) 3-0, at Huddersfield (3rd) 3-1 and Preston (8th) 2-0 - with three of these losses against teams in the top half of the table. They have done well against teams in the bottom half, and like them to win this game, but they will be given a tough time by QPR have some good home form coming into this game. However with the home side having plenty to play for, then they should come out on top in this game
