Arsenal vs West Ham by Blackcrow

Arsenal
VS
West-Ham
Arsenal (6th) have the opportunity to jump back into 5th spot with a win here and take advantage of Man Utd's draw yesterday. They twice came back to finish up with a 2-2 draw with Man City (4th) on the weekend which will give them some confidence that they can do better here. However Arsenal's form of late is a concern. They have just won once and drawn one other game of their last six games, as they have scored in each of them but have allowed goals in five of these last six games. Arsenal drew with Man City, lost 3-1 at West Brom (8th), lost 3-1 at Liverpool (3rd), won 2-0 at home to Hull (18th), lost 3-1 at Chelsea (1st) and lost 2-1 at home to Watford (9th). Only their win against Hull have they played against a team in the bottom half in these last six fixtures, so they are hoping that facing 15th placed West Ham will also lead a similar result.

West Ham have lost their last four games, and have one win in their last seven, as they have scored and conceded in each of these games. They lost 2-1 at Hull (18th), lost 3-2 at home to Leicester (10th), lost 3-2 at Bournemouth (14th), lost 2-1 at home to Chelsea (1st), drew 1-1 at Watford (9th), drew 2-2 at home to West Brom (9th) and won 3-1 at Southampton (13th). West Ham have allowed at least two goals in five of these last seven games, and can see an Arsenal side scoring at least twice here. However West Ham should score on them, as Koscielny is now out, and though Mertesacker should replace him, he will not be match fit, and may struggle with the size and physicality of Carroll. Arsenal beat them 5-1 earlier in the season and liking a similar scoreline here.pin
