Ramirez Hidalgo vs Estrella by Scully99
Both players are coming towards the twilight of their careers with Ramirez Hidalgo(149) at 39 years of age and Estrella Burgos(87) at 36 years of age but both are still performing at an acceptable level.
Ramirez Hidalgo hasn't had a great start to 2017 with a current record of 5/6 so far this year and an even worse record on clay so far this year with a 1/4 record. One of these losses on clay came against his opponent today when Estrella comfortably won 6-3,6-3 in the qualifications for the Rio open and with Reuben's career starting to take a turn for the worse as much as results are concerned, it could be a good time to get on Estrella to make it back to back wins against Ramirez Hidalgo.
Estrella Burgos is also getting on a bit and is not quite at the level that saw him reach 43rd in the world but so far in 2017 he has impressed on clay court having won the Quito open beating the likes of Belluci(67) and Lorenzi(38) as well as getting to the round of 16 in Rio. All his success so far this season has come at ATP level showing he could still be a class above the challenger level he is playing at today.
I can only see one winner in this as Ramirez Hidalgo is not performing well at all at the moment and even taking away form, Estrella Burgos is a better player than him so I can only see this going one way
