Valerenga vs Viking by 20legend

Valerenga
VS
Viking
A wind of expectations is blowing in over Valerenga ahead of this season as a lot has changed from the recent years. Their new coach Ronny Deila has finally stepped in and made his mark on this team which gives hope for some offensive fireworks in the upcoming games. Mohamed "Moa" Abdellaoue is brought back in shape and he has scored several goals during preseason. If he can stay healthy all season, Valerenga has the striker to get Valerenga into a top 3 position and maybe challenge Rosenborg for the title. A lot of interesting names are there to help him with Ghyas Zahid as the most important playmaker. Ronny Deila also picked up two signings right before the window closed with Abdisalam Ibrahim (Viking) and Daniel Berntsen (Djurgarden). He has also brought in Mohamed Keita (Lech Poznan) on loan and striker Bard Finne (Koln). Deila has really made things work in the preseason as well with great performances and wins and it is clearly possible of doing better than the 10th place from last season. Daniel Fredheim Holm, Ernest Agyiri and Henrik Kjeldsrud Johansen are missing tonight's game.

Viking is in a quite different situation compared to Valerenga as optimism is changed with a lot of questions. Their economic situation is hopeless with the giveaway of their midfielder Abdisalam Ibrahim to a big rival being the perfect example of the club's situation. The squad is one of their weakest in many years on paper and their new coach is the least experienced of them all. Ian Burchnall is the assistant that has been given the main responsbillity now, but he has a huge task to deal with. It dosen't get any better when key-player Samuel Agdenbendro is not able to play this match after his strong preseason. The loan player Robin Shroot is available though with Kwesi Appiah also being available from a debut here.

Valerenga is on to something big this season in my opinion while Viking could be headed for a tough season on the lower half. Viking was one of the best teams away from home last season, but it would be a lot hader to match that with their current squad. The home team seem to have risen up from the dust and looks stronger than ever with Ronney Deila running the buisiness. It should be possible for Valerenga to take their first win already tonight, with "Moa" and Zahid in giant form. The first round in Eliteserien did not give too much surprising results and neither should this match.
