Celta vs Las Palmas by Rahul

Celta Vigo come into this game on the back of some good form losing just 2 out of their last 9 games. What has been key for the Celta Vigo has been their good attacking form where they have scored in 7 out of those last 9 games. A lot of the Celta Vigo's scoring output has come from the likes of Aspas (15 goals) along with support from Guidetti, Sisto and Wass. Vigo know that the La Liga is not their priority anymore as they will fancy themselves to try and make a dent in the Europa League as a method of qualifying for Europe next season. Defensively, they have been a bit laxed recently conceding goals in 5 out of their last 7; and that should be a bit vary for them with Las Palmas looking to take the attack to them.

Las Palmas come into this encounter on the back of some entertaining fixtures that have thrilled one and all as they come to take on Celta Vigo tonight. Las Palmas in recent weeks have lost 4-3 to Las Palmas, beaten Osasuna 5-2 and drawn with Real Madrid 3-3; to showcase the struggles that they have had defensively shipping too many goals in recent weeks. Their offensive unit just continue to hammer the goals netting in 6 out of their last 7 games; and as I mentioned how attacking and fun were some of those games. With no key striker delivering double digit goals this season; they have relied on the likes of Livaja, Tana, Jose, Boateng, Momo and Jonathan Viera to deliver goals for them with a lot of them coming on the counter attack.

Celta Vigo and Las Palmas just sit 1 position and 3 points apart, with both teams looking to continue on their brand of attacking form in recent weeks to put in an entertaining encounter. Matchups between these sides have been thoroughly entertaining with each of 7 matches between them being Over 2.5 goals and both teams scoring; and that is exactly what I will be backing in this encounter tonight.
